Cultural Heritage Management: A Review of the Literature

Cultural heritage preservation has become paramount in archaeology, history, and conservation. Among these technologies, 3D modeling has emerged as a powerful tool for capturing and representing cultural heritage in a comprehensive and immersive manner. The following review presents a selection of significant contributions, each offering unique perspectives and insights into cultural heritage management. The analysis used various databases, including ScienceDirect (Elsevier), SpringerLink, Emerald, IEEE Xplore, Scopus, Willey, Taylor & Francis, and Google Scholar. In addition, cross-reference methods were used to find relevant research related to the topic. The findings of this study could contribute valuable insights for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers involved in managing cultural heritage sites in tourist destinations.
