摘要

Melanoma and pregnancy have long been associated with concerns for worse prognosis for both the fetus and the patient with melanoma. Although there are observed changes in pregnancy that can cause immunologic changes that can lead to a worse melanoma prognosis, evidence supporting such a relationship is weak. However, there are special considerations in management for a pregnant patient who develops melanoma as well as a patient with melanoma considering pregnancy. This chapter discusses the evidence on the relationship between melanoma and pregnancy as well as the evidence supporting any adjustments to the treatment and care plan.
