Side Effects of Melanoma Therapy

Targeted therapy and immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy significantly improve on the toxicity profile of previous chemotherapy and earlier immunotherapy. However, treatment-related adverse events may still be significant. This chapter describes the adverse events seen with targeted therapy and immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy, as well as how these effects may be managed.
