Dermoscopy
摘要
Skin lesions may present with a broad range of features and have significant variations. Dermoscopy allows a user to closely examine and improve the diagnostic accuracy of cutaneous lesions, thereby decreasing the number of biopsies needed for providers to confidently make appropriate management plans. This chapter presents a framework to diagnose cutaneous lesions dermoscopically, from nonmelanocytic lesions to melanocytic lesions including benign nevi and melanoma. By correlating dermoscopic findings with the current understanding of their dermatopathological causes, this chapter also aims to help users visualize disease processes of cutaneous lesions.
