Uveal Melanoma
摘要
Uveal melanoma is a cancer of the eye involving the iris, ciliary body, or choroid. Tumors arise from the melanocytes that reside within the uvea. In this chapter we summarize clinical, histological, and molecular features. We also describe the pathways involved in the process of tumorigenesis and the tools used to diagnose it. In addition, we explain the features used for prognostication and some of the therapies available for this cancer.
