University–Enterprise Linkages: A Bayesian SEM Approach Toward MIS Major
摘要
In the context of global integration, research on the linkage between universities and enterprises aim to help universities and educational institutes improve the quality of teaching and learning, and provide a knowledge base for learners via the business needs of the organizations or enterprises. This study proposes and tests a structural model for university–enterprise linkages with the Bayesian Structural Equation Modelling (Bayesian SEM) approach toward the major of Management Information Systems (MIS). The findings illustrate that the antecedents of the linkages such as contextual factors, organizational factors, operational characteristics, and business awareness and the linkage between universities and enterprises such as training linkage and research linkage are structurally related to the enterprise performance.
