Advances of Plant-Assisted Synthesized Metal Nanoparticles and Their Environmental Application

The rapidly growing population leads to numerous problems in our environment. The use of nanoparticles in environmental remediation and prospective impacts on the different sectors are discussed. Potential effects of different pollutants on the environment and human health have been taken into account. However, several metallic NPs are reported with various sizes and forms using extracts from leaves, bark, fruits, and flowers. Such reports are collected here that utilized them in an environmental application. A list of ideas for additional study is given in each location. In this review article, we discuss nanoparticles, their types, characteristics, and their role in phytoremediation.
