Coronavirus: Sustainable Development vs Pandemic Enclosure Reflections on Urban and Rural Old People

The aim of this paper is linked to the analysis of the socio-political repercussions of the coronavirus, especially in relation to the older age group. Thus, it is indicated that these are dilemmatic times for old people. Suddenly identified as a risk group par excellence in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, they are suddenly confined, stigmatised and ageing without a right of reply. A new trend of ageism is emerging that seems to find no opponents.
