Attachment
摘要
Attachment (AT) is, perhaps, the most relevant phenomenon mediated by oxytocin, as it acts as a bonding element between mother and baby, stimulating maternal care, essential for the baby’s survival, and, ultimately, allowing for the development of a loving bond between them. The development of attachment will be responsible for the creation of a template for future relationships, which can last for life, or can be modified by other relevant epigenetic influences. Similarities and differences between animal and human aspects will be discussed.
