Intentions and Business Processes
摘要
Business process analysis focuses on mapping business intentions and actions that lead to their fulfillment. For their capturing, we use two models. Process map, which allows one in a systematic way using the TOGAF event diagram to get an overview of the analyzed business, identify its business processes and their relationships, specify the scope and context of the process analysis, structure the analysis, and let one decide what should be subject to detailed process analysis. Process flow model, which allows one in a systematic way using the BPMN diagram to capture the details of a business process at two consistent levels of detail (process steps and tasks), map process steps and tasks of business process, their possible sequences, and all possible outcomes, and analyze and capture the points at which business processes synchronize with their environment. For both models, we specify a step-by-step modeling process for their creation.
