Morphological Diversity
摘要
Three morphs of Rubus bogotensis Kunth are recognized growing in the Andes. The “smooth” morph does not have trichomes, and the “hairy” morph bears a high density of trichomes. The “intermediate” morph has less reddish trichomes than the “hairy” morph. These three morphs were found growing sympatrically near Sáchica, Boyacá State, Colombia. A few studies have documented the morphological variation of R. bogotensis in the wild.
