Undoubtedly, technology has had a profound effect on human resource management functions and processes, and it will continue to have a major influence on human resources and the management thereof. This chapter discusses the impact of technology on human resource management and processes. The chapter examines the impact of Industry 4.0 on human resource management. Furthermore, the chapter discusses the advent of Industry 5.0 and the associated issues that are relevant to human resource management.
