The Reading Circuit as a Transcultural Foundation for Assertiveness in the Classroom
摘要
This chapter highlights the importance of applying assertiveness through the reading circuit to connect with students. The identification of common points, group reading, and the assimilation of cultural elements, including language, are highlighted. The reading circuit covering Reading, Comprehension, and Interpretation allows learning languages, identifying interests, and understanding cultural references, facilitating student assimilation and improving academic performance. Its successful implementation strengthens teacher participation, improves communication and feedback strategies, and reinforces competencies according to the curricular plan. The objective is to identify how to transmit knowledge assertively, considering the cultural context and experiences of the students and seeking positive and purposeful communication. Implementing the reading circuit is proposed to strengthen this approach, facilitating the appropriation of knowledge through standard cultural references within a framework of assertiveness, inclusion, and respect.
