Formation of Defects and Clusters on the Surface of LiF Crystals Under Electron and Ion Irradiation

This chapter discusses the experimental and theoretical results of studies of the formation of defects and clusters on the surface of LiF crystals upon irradiation with electrons and ions using various techniques. The objects of research were wide-gap crystals and films of lithium fluoride.
