Challenges Posed by Parents
摘要
Chapter 7 discusses challenges that public school employees face from one of the most important education stakeholders—parents. In recent years, parents have seemingly taken a much more active role in their children’s education, whether it be in the form of voicing opinions over curriculum and library books or as advocates for their students. Teachers and administrators alike will often find themselves collaborating with parents for the good of their students. This chapter explores anticipated challenges from parents and asks readers to contemplate the duties owed by administrators, teachers, and other public school employees.
