Chapter 12 takes a look at how far the use of technology as a tool for learning has come (or not) since computers were first introduced in schools. Changes to the modes of learning during COVID-19 school closures brought issues of equity front and center in terms of access and resources. Even years after the pandemic, these issues could mean increased liability for school administrators, especially when the use of government funds, or shortfalls in district funding, are challenged.
