Next-Gen Negligence and Mental Health
摘要
Through an examination of various scenarios related to mental health, Chap. 11 asks readers to look to various case laws to contemplate how and when a public school district may be liable for negligence, especially as regards student mental health concerns. The authors also ask readers to contemplate the relationship between mental health and bullying, an issue prevalent in public schools, today. Finally, the authors examine the difference in anti-bullying statutes across state lines and discuss how the duties owed by administrators and other public school district employees may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
