Radicalisation in Times of Crisis
摘要
This chapter contextualises the book’s findings within the broader comparative literature on radical right politics, crisis management, and its impact on party politics. It contends that crisis exploitation plays a pivotal role in shaping the ideology and discourse of political parties, influencing their political development. The chapter argues that the first two crises were advantageous for the radical right’s establishment, the third crisis stimulated their arguments on the EU, while the fourth posed a challenge to their exploitation skills.
