An Approach to Computer Vision Control of a Parallel Soft Gripper
摘要
Soft robotics has seen significant advancements in the past decade, offering compliant and adaptive solutions for various applications. The parallel soft gripper presented in this article, fabricated entirely using additive manufacturing techniques, incorporates flexible and compliant pneumatic actuators for safe interaction with delicate objects. Computer vision techniques are utilized, integrating a camera and image processing algorithms to extract object features and generate control signals. Experimental results demonstrate the gripper’s improved adaptability, dexterity, and grasping performance compared to traditional rigid grippers.
