Design Validation

This chapter introduces an Application Specific Integrated design (ASIC) validation fundamental. Today, many ASIC designers are dependent on Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) to accelerate validation early in the process in order to start software development and validate the ASIC design before committing to silicon.
