A Systems Approach Analysis of a Multi-Agency Response to Domestic Abuse
摘要
Domestic abuse is a significant, multi-faceted, and complex societal issue in the UK, which successive governments have struggled to grapple with from a legislative or policy perspective. This chapter will identify the need for organisations to work together and indeed the need for system change while recognising the barriers and limitations in doing so. The requirement of specialist system coordination in the form of a ‘boundary spanner’ (someone to help victims navigate the system) is explored as well as the role of the community in a coordinated response.
