This chapter provides an overview of selected nosological entities that can attack the visual pathway, and at the same time, for which the neurosurgeon is often a major contributor to their treatment. It should be emphasised that the diagnosis and treatment of most of these pathologies require an interdisciplinary approach involving not only ophthalmologists and neurosurgeons, but also radiologists, otorhinolaryngologists, pathologists, oncologists, and neurologists.
