Introduction
摘要
Behavioral public policy, an applied form of behavioral sciences in public policy, has gained increasing popularity in recent decades. This chapter outlines the main goal of the Pivot to show the value of behavioral public policy and what could be retained when other intellectual movements may become fashionable for the community of public policy scholars and practitioners. It describes how this objective will be achieved through the five subsequent chapters. Chapter 2 introduces the main concepts and debates in behavioral public policy. Chapter 3 presents findings from a systematic review mapping available behavioral policy alternatives. Chapter 4 delves into the role of evidence-based behavioral public policy and emphasizes the importance of context in its implementation. Chapter 5 focuses on legitimacy of behavioral public policy and public trust. Finally, Chapter 6 concludes by examining implications for both research and practice.
