Special Considerations: Fractures of the Coracoid Process and Acromion

Treatment of coracoid process and acromion fractures remains controversial in the literature. Both fractures are rare, but frequently associated with acromioclavicular injuries. In this book chapter, we address diagnosis, classification, current evidence, and our treatment protocol for coracoid process and acromion fractures.
