Non-operative Management of Scapular Fractures: Patient Selection, Treatment Protocol, and Expected Outcomes
摘要
Scapular fractures are rare and generally involved in the scenario of a high-energy blunt chest trauma. Most scapula fractures can be safely and effectively managed with non-operative treatment, especially when there is no involvement of the glenoid fossa. In this chapter, we outline the patient selection, our non-operative treatment protocol, and the expected outcomes.
