Special Considerations: Complex Scapular Fractures—Preoperative Planning and Fixation Strategies (Case Based)

Complex scapular fractures are conceptually defined by the presence of a glenoid fracture combined with a multifragmentary fracture of the whole scapular body (Pires et al., Patient Safety Surg 15(6):1–18, 2021). In this chapter, however, we will present the set-up strategies for challenging scapular fractures, but not only addressing this fracture patterns, but also other peculiar ones.
