摘要

This chapter discusses the importance of soft skills, such as social and emotional intelligence, in managing innovative organisations during the transition from an industrial to a knowledge-based society. The chapter highlights the fact that technical skills are no longer sufficient to address the challenges of modern management. The focus has shifted to a more holistic approach that embraces creativity and innovation, which are essential for success in today’s knowledge-based economy. The chapter also explores the gender gap in career advancement and the need for policies that support working mothers. Despite progress in recent years, women still face significant obstacles in their career advancement due to cultural and structural barriers. The chapter argues that organisations must take a proactive stance in addressing these issues and developing policies that promote gender equality in the workplace. In conclusion, the chapter stresses the importance of soft skills in modern management and the need for organisations to embrace a more holistic approach that values creativity and innovation. It also highlights the need for policies that support working mothers and promote gender equality in the workplace.
