Conclusions and Future Research Directions

In this book, online incentive mechanism designs for wireless networks have been extensively studied, with a particular focus on its applications in crowdsensing and EC networks. The book not only introduces the development and basic concepts but also present some methods essential for designing online incentive mechanisms. Before the detailed introduction of linear, nonlinear, and real-time decision online incentive mechanisms, the book first presents some basics and preliminaries for online incentive mechanism designs in Chap. 1 . After that, this book thoroughly derives the solutions for linear, nonlinear, and real-time decision online incentive mechanisms, exemplifying their applications in crowdsensing and EC networks. Since online incentive mechanisms consider more practical in comparison to traditional offline ones, it is believed that it would be one of the mainstream research topics in wireless communications.
