Introduction of Online Incentive Mechanism in Wireless Communications

In this chapter, we begin with the introduction of a history overview to online incentive mechanisms, and proceed to highlight the necessity of using online incentive mechanisms in wireless communications. Then, several basics in the design of online algorithms, incentive mechanisms, and their combinations are introduced. After that, we elaborate details on three fundamental approaches: primal-dual based online incentive mechanism design, Lyapunov-based online incentive mechanism design, and random-based online incentive mechanism design.
