Security, Privacy, Trust, and Provenance Issues in Internet of Things–Based Edge Environment
摘要
Today, artificial intelligence (AI) is being used by many sectors. AI improves automation and provides faster computing. Artificial intelligence can change all industries, it cannot implement standalone. Generally, AI heavily depends on the transmission of data and the computation of intricate machine-learning algorithms. We require AI to merge with emerging technologies like edge computing, which provides efficient, faster, and reliable access to data. Note that edge computing introduces a revolutionary computing paradigm by relocating AI and machine learning to the very location where data is generated and processed the edge of the network. We are now observing artificial intelligence (AI) transitioning to edge IoT devices and networks similar to the shift from mainframes to the cloud. During this transformation of AI and IoT-based edge environment, we face several serious issues like security, privacy, trust, scalability, etc. Such issues required a social attention from scientific community and are explained in this chapter in detail.
