Mental Health and Field Education Praxis During the COVID-19 Pandemic
摘要
When the COVID-19 pandemic started, many schools were forced to change their methods of teaching. A lot of colleges and universities turned into virtual teaching and learning. That entailed complete pivoting from in person to online teaching and learning. While there are a couple of discussions on how COVID-19 affected teaching and learning, much is left out when it comes to how field practicum was affected by the pandemic. We would assume that it is a failure to find relevant grammar to express how field and teaching are inextricably connected. This chapter attempts to engage with the complexities that were prevalent on social work field practicum while also remembering in political ways how theory and practice work together in complex ways more during COVID-19 pandemic.
