Elbow Fractures: Epidemiology, Types, and Return to Sports Considerations
摘要
Elbow fractures are a significant concern in sports involving high-impact activities and repetitive motions, representing a notable challenge in sports medicine. These injuries are prevalent among athletes and active individuals, manifesting in various forms and requiring immediate and specialized care. At the current stage, high-level clinical evidence from randomized controlled trials is lacking for most recommendations regarding return to sports after elbow trauma. We attempt to list out common strategies based on the best available recommendations from existing literature highlighting points of concerns particularly in the rehabilitation phase of these patients.
