Medical Devices Tribology
摘要
In this book chapter, we will discuss the significance of tribology in various surgical and medical devices and instruments like dental implants, contact lenses, cardiovascular devices, surgical instruments, orthodontic and dental implants, artificial joints, and teeth. Also, we have briefly discussed the present condition and the future progress of these medical devices from the tribological viewpoint, along with the fundamental mechanism.
