Norwegian Police Crisis Communication During the COVID-19 Pandemic. Digital Opportunities and Challenges

The aim of this chapter is to investigate how Norwegian police leaders experienced and managed the challenges related to crisis communication during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this way, we gained some insight into how leaders of the Norwegian police thought about challenges and handling of crisis communication during the COVID-19 pandemic. This chapter explores how leaders in the Norwegian police services experienced and responded to the Covid-19 pandemic. It focuses on internal communication, both vertical and horizontal, as a part of the management process.
