Contrast of Speckle Images Using Modulated Apertures

Since the advent of lasers speckle patterns have been obtained from scattered and reflected light from coherent laser beams, and the statistical properties of speckles have been investigated. In this chapter, laser speckle images are investigated using linear,quadratic, and Hamming apertures. The speckle contrast versus the speckle size and aperture was computed and discussed [Hamed in] Pram. J. Phys. 95, 122 (2021).
