Unsteadiness and Stiff Neck in a Young Female
摘要
An 18-year-old female with a history of chronic neck pain visited the neurology clinic. She complained of stiffness in her neck, which had been ongoing for a couple of years. Recently, she started experiencing progressively worsening unsteadiness on her feet over the past 2 months. A neurological examination conducted 2 months ago did not reveal any abnormalities, including finger-nose or a Romberg’s test. The patient reported intermittent double vision and blurred vision for the past 2 months, along with occipital headaches. The patient did not mention persistent headaches, only discomfort at the back of her head when coughing or sneezing.
