Burning Legs
摘要
A 72-year-old woman was referred to the neurology out-patient clinic due to a burning sensation in both legs and feet, with the left foot being more severely affected. These gradually progressing symptoms began approximately 6 weeks ago, and there was no history of back pain. The patient had a medical history of autoimmune hepatitis and has been receiving mycophenolate mofetil for the past 6 months, following a previous treatment regimen of azathioprine and steroids for a period of 5 years. The results of a polyneuropathy blood screening were found to be within normal limits.
