Static and Dynamic Tests
摘要
This chapter presents the experimental methods and results of static and dynamic tests performed on carbonate rocks to evaluate the effects of different acidizing fluids and additives. The static tests include dissolution tests using a rotary disk reactor and a pH meter to measure the reaction rates and efficiencies of various acid solutions and concentrations. The dynamic tests include coreflood tests to measure the permeability enhancement and wormhole propagation of acidized cores. The chapter also describes the guidelines for laboratory evaluation of acidizing additives, such as compatibility testing, iron reducing agent, suspending agent, non-emulsifier, corrosion inhibitor, mutual solvent, clay stabilizer, foaming agent, and asphaltene solvent. The chapter aims to provide a comprehensive and systematic approach to optimize the design and performance of matrix acidizing treatments for carbonate reservoirs.
