Cycle 2: Smart Devices for Cues’ Submission
摘要
The PASSO project is composed of three design cycles, this chapter describes in detail the phases of the second cycle, dedicated to the design of an innovative smart device for the submission of haptic cues to people affected by Parkinson’s disease. During the planning phase, the multidisciplinary team defined users and stakeholders, and the project context; in the analyzing phase users’ needs were collected and an analysis of devices submitting haptic cues was conducted; in the creating phase, it was applied the Quality Function Deployment tool, and several design solutions were developed and prototyped; finally, during the verifying phase, the prototyped were tested to collect quantitative and qualitative data for the validation of this part of the research project.
