Cycle 1: Interpretation of Results

摘要

This chapter, describes results gained during the first design cycle of the PASSO research project, regarding the design of smart sensory cues submitting images, sounds, and vibrations to the users affected by Parkinson’s disease to influence their gait. The testing protocol described in the previous chapter involved several users and allowed the mHealth system to collect data about the gait of tested people, visualize results, and share outcomes with the multidisciplinary team to make considerations from different research fields. In the second part of the cycle, the author describes a novel application of the Quality Function Deployment as a tool to combine the results obtained by the tested sensory cues, towards a classification of the most effective ones.
