Cycle 1: Smart Sensory Cues
摘要
The first design cycle of the PASSO project aims to design and test sensory cues using the visual, auditory, and tactile channels to suggest to the user how to positively modify the gait and posture. This chapter describes the four phases of planning, analyzing, creating, and verifying. The planning phase defines users and context; the analyzing one studies users’ requirements given by people about their perception of sensory cues, and technical constraints from available technologies influencing choices about smart devices; the creating phase regards the design and development of visual, auditive, and vibratory cues’ prototypes; and, finally, the verifying phase is about the validation of the designed solutions thanks to a testing protocol with the involvement of several users.
