Benchmark of Smart Devices for Parkinson’s Disease
摘要
Technologies for aging users require a high degree of usability, especially if considering smart solutions characterized by a high level of innovation and digitalization. In this chapter, the author analyzes several smart devices specifically conceived to improve the gait and posture of people affected by Parkinson’s disease. The selected products are Personal KinetiGraph, Path Finder, Emma Watch, and Gyroglove. All considered smart devices were designed using a User-Centered methodology, involving users in parts of the design process. These products were selected as benchmarking of the research project, and selected as inspirations for the development of the PASSO project.
