Conclusion
摘要
In concluding, we reflect on future outlooks and remaining challenges in face de-identification. As facial recognition proliferates, privacy-preserving de-identification intensifies. While this book provides an overview of the state-of-the-art (SOTA), open questions warrant exploration. With methods and technologies rapidly advancing, de-identification techniques must evolve to counter emerging privacy threats. Ongoing challenges include improving model accuracy, efficiency, and security while preserving utility and personalization. Interdisciplinary perspectives from fields like psychology could uncover new ways to balance privacy and usability. By highlighting promising directions and gaps, we aim to catalyze further research on responsible use of facial data to protect privacy. The journey toward robust, ethical face de-identification continues.
