摘要

A man with a history of atrial fibrillation and ischaemic heart disease presented with chest pain and uncontrolled hypertension. Unexpectedly his imaging showed multiple lesions and his anti platelets and anticoagulation were stopped. Further imaging ensued as to whether or not we should restart his oral anticoagulation and antiplatelet. This case takes us through the case in more detail with a discussion as to the safety of starting anticoagulation in patients with multiple cavernomas which have a yearly risk of haemorrhage of anything up to 25%.
