An Alternative Solution to a Difficult Problem

Acute Ischaemic Stroke often presents in patients who have complex co morbidities and those with an underlying bleeding disorder can poses challenges. This case explores management of ischaemic stroke in a patient with Hereditary Haemorrhagic Telengiectasia. There is a discussion of the risk benefits of oral anticoagulation and concerns about exposing patients to risk of stroke in areas where there is little evidence.
