Linear Stability of Traffic Flow Models with Discrete Delays
摘要
In this chapter, we investigate the linear stability of a number of car-following models by combining the material of Chaps. 2 – 3 . The discussion here pertains to discrete-time delays, and also expands on the existing models by considering the effects of multiple delays that may arise from different sensing capabilities of the drivers. In particular, we study headway and relative-velocity sensing delays.
