摘要

This chapter explores how justice is shaped through seeking justice through emancipatory and transformative values and praxis even if demands are not satisfied or are met with resistance. Through mechanisms of resistance, reclamation, and resilience, emancipatory practices emerge to demand a new social contract with the state that addresses the politico-economic orderings which continue to perpetuate structural and racialized violence against citizens. Through the framework of justicecraft it becomes possible to recognize points of contact and conflict, between transformative justice initiatives and transitional justice mechanisms.
