The Craft
摘要
This chapter outlines the conceptual framework of justicecraft developed in the book. Justicecraft arises from the premise that the making of justice is a craft, and this process of craft making is a source of political change. By identifying the skills, knowledge, labor, affect, and materiality involved in political change, justicecraft illuminates contested struggles for justice, and accompanying social, political, and cultural shifts in society which can unfold. In so doing, justicecraft facilitates a richer understanding of how contestations over recognition, representation, and reparation can enable or contract processes of political change.
