ThePartial moments in discrete-time objective of this chapter is to develop the partial moment approach within the discrete-time framework. The main achievement of this chapter is to demonstrate that the embedded FIR filterEmbedded FIR filter associated with partial moments closely approximates theFilter of Steiglitz-McBride ideal filter of Steiglitz–McBride.
