This chapter proposes a strategy for remediation of an oiled marine environment that uses hydrodynamics in a limited water area to distribute nutrients (nitrogen or phosphorus) and stimulate biodegradation in several oiled zones. For example, some recreational or aquaculture areas may be selected as such zones.
